German midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud is, according to multiple German sources, testing out the waters of the Isle with a medical in London. The twice-capped German international will be departing his German club on a free this summer and has been said to favor a move abroad. Dahoud has also been linked with a host of English clubs.

All German sources currently reporting on the matter play down much of a chance that Dahoud will soon be signing with whatever London-based club he's currently visiting. Sources such as Dortmund's Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper, broadcaster Sport1, and Kicker Magazine all note that the 27-year-old wishes to keep options from Italy and Spain open.

Other non-London based Premiership sides such as Newcastle, Leicester City, and Brighton & Hove Albion also remain in the running. Despite no longer factor into the starting XI plans of BVB trainer Edin Terzic and sometimes even missing out on the matchday squad, the €12-million-valued player could still conceivably be a starter at another club.
