General updates: Mané and Olmo rumors appear unfounded, Dahoud to sign with Brighton?

Separate German sources are currently reporting that there is nothing to rumors linking Bayern's Sadio Mané with Chelsea and Leipzig's Dani Olmo with Bayern.

As reports continue to surface regarding the future of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, Westphalia's Ruhr Nachrichten and Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano now report that the 27-year-old is set to join Brighton.

Reports surfacing earlier this week about a potential transfer of Bayern's underperforming attacker Sadio Mané to Chelsea FC are apparently without merit. German transfer expert Christian Falk of Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid - speaking on the German program "Englischer Woche" - specifically denied that there had been any contact between Bayern and the London based club, or indeed any Premiership side.

It also looks to be the case that claims from Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano that Bayern are looking to potentially pluck Spanish star Dani Olmo away from RB Leipzig are false. Kerry Hau, one of the senior reporters for German broadcaster Sport1, says that Olmo is not a topic at all with the Bavarians. Sport Bild also backs Hau's claim.

Romano may have been incorrect about the Olmo to Bayern rumors, but is now confident enough to call some specifics about Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud's highly-publicized trip to the Isle this afternoon. Romano asserts that the German international is in advanced talks with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Germany's Westdeutscher Allgemeine Zeitung is tentatively corroborating the report at this juncture, though no other German sources apart from transfermarkt's home base (citing the two sources) are. It remains unclear as to whether Dahoud is still in London or has trained south.
