Agent: Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern

Robert Lewandowski's agent has announced that his client wants to leave Bayern München.
Bayern München striker Robert Lewandowski is looking for a new challenge and wants to find a new club this summer, his agent Pini Zahavi tells Bild.

"Robert feels that he needs a change and a new challenge in his career. The responsible at Bayern have been informed," Zahavi told Bild and added:

"Robert's motives are not money or a certain club, because almost all the top clubs would like to have the best striker in the world in their ranks."

However, Bayern München chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said earlier this month that the club expect Lewandowski to stay.

"We know what we have in Robert Lewandowski. I am very happy that we still have such a long-term contract. No need to worry - he will also play at Bayern Munich next season," he told Kicker.

Lewandowski's contract with Bayern München runs out in 2021.
