Official: Dortmund sign Thorgan Hazard

Borussia Dortmund have announced the signing of Thorgan Hazard who joins the club from Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The Belgian international has put pen to paper on a contract until 2024.

"We are delighted that Thorgan has decided join Borussia Dortmund. He's an experienced Bundesliga player and a Belgian international who will help up with his pace and quality in terms of finishing. He has proven his class in the last few years," said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.

Thorgan Hazard is excited about taking the next step in his career after spending five years at Gladbach.

"I'm grateful for five great years and very nice memories at Borussia Mönchengladbach. This was the perfect time to take the next step in my career. I'm produc to play for Borussia Dortmund which is a top club with incredible fans," Hazard said.

The 26-year-old joins Dortmund for a reported fee of around €25 million. He made 35 appearances during the 2018/19 season with 13 goals and 12 assists to his name.
