Martin Hinteregger: 'I couldn't be happier'
Martin Hinteregger is extremely pleased to be back at Eintracht Frankfurt.
On Thursday, Eintracht Frankfurt announced that Martin Hinteregger has joined the club on a permanent deal from FC Augsburg.
And it's safe to say that the centre-back, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Frankfurt, is happy to be back.
"I couldn't be happier to be back home. It took a little longer than anticipated but now I'm just over the moon to be back out on the pitch with the lads," Hinteregger said in an interview on Eintracht Frankfurt's website and added:
"I really do feel like a weight's been lifted from me. Everyone knew from the off that what I wanted was to stay in Frankfurt, and now it's settled. I look down at the pitch and know that I can look forward to the coming years, playing some classy football and enjoying my time with the fans and with the people of Frankfurt."
Hinteregger made 21 appearances for 'Die Adler' last season.
