Report: Amine Harit set to sign a new deal with Schalke 04

Schalke 04 and Amine Harit have reportedly come to an agreement on a new contract.
Amine Harit has agreed to put pen to paper on a new deal with Schalke 04, according to Fussballtransfers.

Harit's current contract runs until 2021, but the German media outlet claims that the parties have agreed on a new deal that will keep the 22-year-old at the club until 2024, with an official announcement expected to be made shortly.

The offensive midfielder has reportedly attracted interest from a number of European clubs after rediscovering his top form for Schalke this season, but it seems he has decided to commit himself to 'The Royal Blues' - at least for now.

The report claims that the new contract probably includes a release clause which will make it easier for Harit to leave should he want to do so before his new deal expires.

Harit has made 16 appearances for Schalke this season, racking up six goals and five assists.
