Official: FC Köln sign Mark Uth on loan

Schalke 04's Mark Uth makes the move to FC Köln on a loan deal until the end of the 2019/20 season.

FC Köln have brought in Mark Uth on loan from Schalke 04 until the end of the season, the club have announced.

Uth has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth at Schalke since David Wagner took over as head coach at Veltins-Arena last summer.

The former Hoffenheim striker has made just five starts for 'The Royal Blues' this season.

Uth played for FC Köln as a youngster, but never made his debut for the first team before moving on to Dutch side Heerenveen in 2012.
