"I wouldn't say we're going through a bad phase. But our opponents may have learned from the first half of the season and have become better at closing us down, including me," Harit told Kicker and added:
"But I don't see that as a problem. We just have to find new ways to play."
Harit has been averaging 1,1 dribbles more per game than in the first half of the season, but is yet to score or set up a goal in 2020. And he is open to changing his decision-making if that will help the team.
"If I go past three or four opponents to score a goal, everything's fine. But if I lose the ball, it's easy to say that I should have played the ball earlier. Sometimes I might have to play the easier ball, I'd like to try that," Harit said.
In their next game, Harit and Schalke take on Mainz on Sunday.
