Mark Uth to stay on loan at FC Köln for another season?

FC Köln would like to keep Mark Uth, but probably won't be able to trigger his release clause of €10 million. Therefore, he could end up spending another season on loan at RheinEnergieStadion.

FC Köln are looking into the possibility of extending Mark Uth's loan spell by another season, according to Sport Bild.

Köln hold an option to sign Uth permanently for €10 million, but will probably not be able to do so due to the lack of income that the corona crisis has caused.

But as the 'The Billy Goats' would really like to keep the striker, an extension of his loan spell could be a possibility.

The 28-year-old is under contract with Schalke 04 until 2022.
