Bayern München might have to manage without Thiago Alcantara for their Bundesliga encounter with Eintracht Frankfurt on Allianz Arena on Saturday.

According to Bild, the Spanish midfield maestro was unable to train on Friday due to adductor problems. And speaking at the pre-match press conference, Bayern coach Hansi Flick confirmed that Thiago is a doubt for Saturday's game.

"Regarding Thiago, we'll have to wait and see. Things are not quite going in the direction we'd like them to go with him," he said.

Serge Gnabry, on the other hand, should be able to play despite having struggled with a minor injury this week.

"Things are looking quite good with Serge. We'll wait and hope to have both of them with us. If we don't, we'll still be able to field 11 players," Flick said.

Bayern will take on Frankfurt on Saturday at 18.30 CET.
