Mahmoud Dahoud ruled out for the season, Haaland to miss out against Paderborn

Mahmoud Dahoud has sustained a season-ending injury while Erling Haaland will miss out on Sunday's game against Paderborn, BVB coach Lucien Favre has revealed.
Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre has revealed that Mahmoud Dahoud will miss the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.

After having started all three games for Dortmund following the Bundesliga's return, the central midfielder will not be able to feature again this season.

"Unfortunately, after our game against Bayern, we found out that 'Mo' Dahoud will be out for the rest of the season," Favre told reporters ahead of Sunday's game against Paderborn.

Favre also confirmed that Erling Haaland will not be available for the upcoming trip to Paderborn after the striker suffered a knee injury against Bayern München.
