RB Leipzig are expected to complete the signing of Alexander Sørloth from Trabzonspor before they kick off the new Bundesliga season against Mainz on Sunday, according to Bild.

'Die Roten Bullen' have reached a breakthrough in their negotiations with Trabzonspor and are on the verge of signing Sørloth for a transfer fee of just under €20 million plus €4 million in add-ons, as per the German media outlet.

The 24-year-old striker has reportedly decided that he wants to join RB Leipzig rather than Tottenham, who have also shown interest in him.

After joining Trabzonspor on loan from Crystal Palace last summer, Sørloth went on to score 33 goals in 49 games for the Turkish side.
