Official: Ridle Baku joins Wolfsburg from Mainz
Ridle Baku has left Mainz to sign for Wolfsburg.
VfL Wolfsburg have announced the signing of Ridle Baku on a permanent deal from Bundesliga rivals Mainz 05.
Baku has put pen to paper on a contract until 2025 with 'Die Wölfe'.
"I'm looking forward to this new challenge. I owe everything to FSV Mainz 05, and the club will always have a special place in my heart. But I felt it was time to take the next step in my development and feel I have the best chances of doing so at Wolfsburg," said Baku.
The versatile 22-year-old made a total of 54 appearances for Mainz, racking up three goals and five assists.
