Frankfurt confirm departure of Simon Falette

Simon Falette has joined Hannover 96 from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Simon Falette has left Eintracht Frankfurt to join 2. Bundesliga outfit Hannover 96, the two clubs have confirmed.

The 28-year-old centre-back has signed a permanent contract with Hannover, joining the club on a three-year deal.

"We play in the 2. Bundesliga, but we have a team suited for the Bundesliga," Falette said.

"The conditions here are very good for a great season. My task is clear: I have to be ready from the start and integrate quickly."

Frankfurt announced earlier today that 30-year-old goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald has joined FC Emmen in the Netherlands.
