Haaland's impressive performances for Dortmund since his move from RB Salzburg in January has led to speculation as to where he will go next, but the 20-year-old is in no rush to leave Signal Iduna Park, according to his father.
"If you play well, it's only logical that big clubs come knocking for you. But we're talking about speculation here. Neither Erling nor me are thinking about interest from other clubs. We signed a long contract with Dortmund, who are a fantastic team for Erling at the moment. We don't want to look further ahead yet," Alf-Inge Haaland told Sport1 and added:
"They take good care of him and are satisfied with his performances. He is allowed to play almost every week and repays the faith by scoring a lot of goals. What could be better? He is doing well. He is happy to be in Dortmund and to be playing for this club."
Asked if the young striker could be on the move next summer, Alf-Inge Haaland responded:
"You never know what will happen. We haven't talked about making such a step so far. I think he would like to win some titles with Dortmund. That's his goal. Erling can still achieve a great deal in Germany and make great progress. Leaving Germany is not a priority for us."
Haaland has made 29 appearances for Dortmund so far, scoring 27 goals. He is tied to the club until 2024.
