Report: Stuttgart and others linked with young Arsenal attacker

German footballing magazine Kicker reports that several Bundesliga clubs are presently interested in acquiring Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun.

An article suggests that the 19-year-old's former sporting director Sven Mislintat leads the race to bring him to the Bundesliga.
One anticipates that, as the Brexit breakoff begins to alter transfer rules, the coming transfer window may see a large influx of young English talent into the Bundesliga. Germany's pre-eminent footballing news source devotes an entire article to a prospect current VfB Stuttgart Sporting Director Sven Mislintat may wish to acquire.

"Kicker" cites British media sources to claim that rising teenage talent Folarin Balogun, scorer of two Europa League goals in the Gunners' current European campaign, considers switching to a league where he might get more immediate playing time. The striker has yet to make a league appearance for Mikel Arteta's club.

Mislintat's upswinging Stuttgart makes for attractive destination for any young talent looking to make an impact. Moreover, the Bundesliga can sell itself to developing English players who desire as much playing time as the likes of teenage sensations Jamal Musiala and Jude Bellingham.

Like all transfer candidates who shall receive a great deal of attention in the coming window, Balogun finds himself on an expiring contract. Accordingly, his parent club will wish to entertain any and all offers to pocket some cash before losing the player on a free next summer.

Kicker reports that the two clubs are actively negotiating.
