16-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko in contention for first Germany U21 call-up

At the age of just 16, Youssoufa Moukoko is in contention to be called up for Germany's U21 squad for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

    Germany's squad for this summer's 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Hungary and Slovenia is due to be announced on Sunday.

    According to Kicker, 16-year-old Borussia Dortmund forward Youssoufa Moukoko is a candidate for the team.

    Moukoko, a Germany under-20 international, has been a regular part of Dortmund's senior squad this season, finding the net two times in 13 appearances.

    During this season, he has become the youngest player to appear and score in the Bundesliga and the youngest debutant in the Champions League.
