Kingsley Coman faces a fine of €50.000 for showing up to training in a Mercedes instead of the Audi he has been given by the club, according to Bild.

Bayern's professional team are obliged to arrive for official appointments in their Audi company cars.

After several players had driven to training in their private luxury cars, FC Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic made a clear statement on the matter in January 2020, telling the team that the next player to do so would be fined €50.000.

Audi is a long-time shareholder of FC Bayern and owns €8.33 percent of the club. As a sponsor, the Ingolstadt-based carmaker pays Bayern €50 million per year.
