Arminia Bielefeld confirm Vasiliadis capture

Arminia Bielefeld have snapped up Sebastian Vasiliadis on a free transfer.

Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld have announced the capture of Sebastian Vasiliadis from second-tier outfit SC Paderborn.

The 23-year-old central midfielder makes the switch to SchücoArena on a free transfer and has signed a contract until 2024.

"Sebastian convinces with a very good mentality and the quality to work strong defensively against the ball as well as to pull the strings offensively," said Arminia Bielefeld managing director for sport Samir Arabi.

"Therefore, we are very happy that Sebastian will be part of our squad in the coming years."

Vasiliadis made 84 appearances for Paderborn in total, racking up seven goals and 14 assits.
