Report: Bayern plan to sign Florian Neuhaus

The German champions are reported to have locked up a transfer for next summer, as reports emerge that the Bavarian giants might have secured a deal to sign Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus.
BILD speculates that Bayern might have an agreement in place to sign Florian Neuhaus in summer 2022. If so, the German midfielder would stay at Gladbach for one more year before moving to the Allianz Arena.

Neuhaus has drawn up interest from both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern München, but it looks like the Bavarian side have beaten die Schwarzgelben to the German's signature. Neuhaus reportedly has a €40m release clause in his current contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Bayern have reportedly triggered this clause but are not in a position to acquire him this summer.

Former Bayern president Uli Hoeneß confirmed this week that Bayern will not be making any more 'big-money signings' this summer following the signing of Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig. They will look for sales to raise funds for other signings to add to Upamecano and Reading FC defender Omar Richards.

Neuhaus is currently part of the Germany set-up for Euro 2020 after being named as part of the 26-man squad. Neuhaus will wear the number 17 during the tournament.
