According to latest reports from Italy, Swedish international Robin Quaison will be moving from Mainz 05 to a Serie A club.

Two suitors have are said to be on the radar – capital club AS Roma & Florence-based Fiorentina. His contract expires at the end of June and he is set to move on a free transfer from the Hesse-based club.

In a recent press interview, Quaison elaborated on his links with the Giallorossi and said: “I have also read the newspapers but we will see what happens. I like Italy, it's good weather and good food. It's a funny rumor, but we'll see how much truth there is in it.”

Quaison has spent 5 seasons in Germany, since moving from Palermo in early 2017, where he played for three seasons. He has scored 34 goals in 130 appearances for Mainz since then.

One thing is for sure, he is on the hunt for a new club.
