Niklas Dorsch eyes return to Germany

Niklas Dorsch would like to come back to Germany.
Germany under-21 international Niklas Dorsch has admitted he is keen on a move to the Bundesliga.

The midfielder, who is under contract with Belgian side KAA Gent until 2024, said in an interview with Bild:

"I have always stressed that it's my dream to play in the Bundesliga.

"As a German youth international, you want to make your way into the senior team at some point. And the best way to do that is through the Bundesliga," added the former Bayern München midfielder.

Wolfsburg, Hertha BSC and Freiburg are understood to be among the suitors for Dorsch, who would cost around €6 million.

Dorsch came through the youth ranks at Bayern and made one appearance for the club's senior side before moving on to FC Heidenheim in 2018. Two years later, he joined Gent.
