Report: RB Leipzig considering Bielefeld defender

Amos Pieper is the latest centre-back to be linked with a move to RB Leipzig.
Arminia Bielefeld's Amos Pieper has emerged as a reported target for RB Leipzig, who are looking to bring in a new centre-back.

According to Bild, the 23-year-old is being lined up as an alternative to their first priority, Wolfsburg's Maxence Lacroix.

Leipzig have been trying to bring Lacroix to the Red Bull Arena for weeks, but have yet to agree a transfer fee with Wolfsburg.

Pieper has just one year left on his contract with Bielefeld.

Leipzig have also been linked with moves for Freiburg's Nico Schlotterbeck and Celtic's Kristoffer Ajer.
