Ridle Baku reacts to Bayern rumors

Ridle Baku claims 'there was never anything concrete' between him and FC Bayern last summer.

    Ridle Baku has commented on reports that Bayern München showed interest in him in the summer of 2020.

    The 23-year-old wide man, who made the switch from Mainz to Wolfsburg last summer, told Kicker:

    "It only came up in the media after I had already signed with Wolfsburg. There was never anything concrete."

    Baku could see himself taking the step to a bigger club in the future, but underlines that he is happy with Wolfsburg at the moment.

    "I definitely have the confidence to take a bigger step at some point. But I don't have to leave Wolfsburg now, I'm totally satisfied."
