Stuttgart take Wolfsburg forward on loan

VfL Wolfsburg striker Omar Marmoush has joined VfB Stuttgart on loan for the rest of the season.

After confirming the arrival of Dodi Lukebakio on a season-long loan deal from Hertha BSC, VfL Wolfsburg have sent 22-year-old Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush out on loan to VfB Stuttgart.

Marmoush spent last season on loan at 2. Bundesliga outfit FC St. Pauli, scoring seven goals in 21 appearances, and has featured two times in the Bundesliga for Wolfsburg this season.

"Omar Marmoush can be used flexibly attacking wise and is a valuable reinforcement for our squad with his qualities and skills," said Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat.

"He proved his qualities last season in the 2. Bundesliga with FC St. Pauli and also this season in his appearances for VfL Wolfsburg," he added.
