Chris Bedia is leaving 1.FC Union Berlin behind and transferring to a club in the United Arab Emirates' first division.

Al Nasr SC officially announced the signing of the 30-year-old attacker from the Bundesliga club from the German capital today.

The Ivorian first joined Union Berlin from Servette Geneva in 2024 for a fee of €2million, but failed to establish himself in Köpenick.

For the past year and a half, Bedia was on loan to BSC Young Boys, but the Swiss club let the purchase option in his contract expire.

“I'm grateful for my time at Union, because even though it was very short, I always felt a lot of support,” explained Bedia.

“After the last two years on loan, I'm now looking forward to a permanent position where I can take on consistent responsibility again.”
