FC Bayern confirmed that they signed Bara Sapoko Ndiaye until the end of the season from Gambinos Stars Africa. The 18-year-old attacker gets the opportunity thanks to Bayern’s joint venture with Los Angeles FC.
Since 2023, the two clubs have been backing Gambinos Stars Africa, which is a Gambian football academy. Bayern announced that the player will join the training of the first team after recovering from a small injury.
For the time being, Bayern have only signed the player on a contract until June 2026. Gambinos Stars Africa started to build a training complex four years before the inauguration of Red&Gold Football – a joint venture of Bayern and LAFC. According to their website, they can accommodate 28 players at their academy.
