Official: TSG Hoffenheim sign Alessandro Vogt from FC St. Gallen

The 21-year-old marksman has officially put pen to paper on a deal to join TSG Hoffenheim in summer.

TSG Hoffenheim have strengthened their attack with the signing of Alessandro Vogt who will join from Swiss Super League club FC St. Gallen in summer.

Born in Switzerland, Vogt progressed through the youth ranks of FC Wohlen, FC Baden, and FC Aarau before joining FC St. Gallen's youth academy in early 2023.

During the 2024-25 season so far, he impressed with 13 goals in 25 appearances for St. Gallen's U-21 team, earning a place in the first team squad since the summer of 2025.

In the current Super League campaign, the striker is one of the league's most prominent forwards. In 32 competitive matches, he has scored 16 goals and provided 5 assists.

“Alessandro is a powerful, athletic center forward with a pronounced goalscoring instinct and a high finishing threat. He impressively demonstrated this in the Swiss Super League this season.

"We are convinced that Alessandro can take the next step with us and are very much looking forward to working with him,” said Andreas Schicker, sporting director of Hoffenheim.
