VfB Stuttgart have confirmed that Jeremy Arévalo is transferring from Racing Santander in Spain to the Swabians.

Arévalo, whose contract for the winter transfer window included a release clause, has signed a contract with VfB until 2031.

The 20-year-old striker will wear the number 25 jersey and will participate in his first training session with Stuttgart on Saturday, January 3.

“We are delighted that Jeremy will be wearing our jersey in the future," said Fabian Wohlgemuth, VfB Stuttgart's sporting director.

"He already possesses many of the qualities a striker needs and has demonstrated his abilities in Santander.

"At the same time, he is still young, and we see a lot of potential in Jeremy that we want to develop together with him.

"In our discussions, it became clear that he is eager to make the step up to the Bundesliga and is keen to contribute his skills to our team.”

In 18 appearances in the Spanish Segunda División this season, Arévalo has managed to find the net 8 times.
