The latest speculation from Marca is aware of Real Madrid's recent interest in Nick Woltemade.
Impressive performances at the U-21 European Championships on top of a breakout season at VfB Stuttgart are said to be the reason.
“Sometimes outstanding performances” is how the Spanish news source described the Galacticos' opinion of the striker.
Suddenly, the 23-year-old is being listed as a potential target for Los Blancos who want to recruit him as a back-up marksman.
In many ways the news comes as no real suprise given Woltemade has already been linked with Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid this summer.
