25-year-old Stefan Drljaca is leaving 3. Liga outfit Dynamo Dresden to join VfB Stuttgart.

The Bundesliga side confirmed the signing of the German goalkeeper on Friday on a contract until 2027.

"I am happy to be here. VfB is a great club with incredible fans and the team has had an outstanding season," said Drljaca.

“After the summer break, I want to do my part to ensure that we in the goalkeeping squad push ourselves to peak performance and play a successful season with VfB.”

Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth commented:

"Due to our participation in the Champions League and the promotion of our U21 to the 3. Bundesliga, it is particularly important that we can build on a qualitatively and quantitatively strong goalkeeping team for the new season.

“Stefan Drljaca has all the prerequisites to fit in quickly and become an important part of our goalkeeping group. We are happy that Stefan has decided to join us and wish him a good start at VfB.”

The former Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim reserves goalkeeper has made 54 appearances for Dynamo Dresden.
