Luca Pfeiffer's time at VfB Stuttgart is officially over, the club announced this afternoon.

The 28-year-old has agreed to join SV Elversberg who narrowly missed out on Bundesliga promotion last Monday.

Pfeiffer spent the entirety of last season on loan at Karlsruher SC in which he provided 3 assists in 17 substitute appearances.

Having originally arrived from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2022, Pfeiffer only donned the Stuttgart jersey on 24 occasions.

“Luca was temporarily sidelined by an injury, so last season unfortunately didn't go quite as planned," said VfB sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth.

"The move to Elversberg now offers him the opportunity to rediscover his former strengths in an ambitious environment. We wish Luca all the best for the future.”
