"I take full responsibility for it" – Musiala deeply regretful for role in autobahn crash

After reports emerged that Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala was the cause of a serious traffic incident last year, the 23-year-old has since admitted his own wrong-doing.
“It is true that I had an accident in April 2025, which I caused. I naturally take full responsibility for it,” explained a regretful Musiala, speaking to BILD.
“I'm very grateful that no one was seriously injured due to my carelessness. I've accepted my punishment for that and also the driving ban in this form,” he added.
Musiala revealed that he struggled to come to terms with the incident that involved his car colliding with another on the autobahn, but said Bayern did everything to assist him.
"The accident was truly a traumatic event that I subsequently had to process. Today I'm simply happy and grateful that neither I nor anyone else was seriously injured.
“The people in charge at FC Bayern and the DFB were aware of the incident at all times and supported me wherever they could – I'm also grateful to them for that,” he concluded.
