UEFA Women’s Europa Cup: Frankfurt set up semi-final clash with Häcken

The first winners of the UEFA Women’s Champions League (formerly UEFA Women's Cup), Eintracht Frankfurt, continue their surge in writing a similar story in the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. Niko Arnautis’ side progressed to the semi-final after a comfortable win over Nordsjælland.

Eintracht Frankfurt beat their Danish counterpart 3-2 away from home on Wednesday, a week after a 4-0 victory in the first leg. Remina Chiba opened the scoring with her second goal of the competition before Géraldine Reuteler and Hayley Raso netted either side of half-time.

Frankfurt will face BK Häcken in the semi-final with the Swedish side having the home advantage for the return leg. The Damallsvenskan holders saw off Breiðablik 11-1 in the quarter-finals. Sparta Prague and Hammarby will contest in the other semi-final that will be played in late March and early April.
