Uli Hoeneß "would love" to see Nico Schlotterbeck at Bayern, report claims

Out of contract with Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2027, Nico Schlotterbeck’s future remains uncertain.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, among others, have been mentioned as potential destinations for the centre-back if he decides to move on.

However, it seems the Bayern bosses are not fully aligned in their assessment of the BVB defender.

According to Bild, honorary president Uli Hoeneß is a “long-time fan” of Schlotterbeck and “would love” to bring the 26-year-old to the Bavarian club.

The tabloid notes, however, that a move this summer will not happen, as Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl is not fully convinced of Schlotterbeck.

However, the Germany international could still join Bayern in 2027, when his current contract expires – if he decides to move on.
