Werder Bremen are planning to sign Arsenal loanee Karl Hein on a permanent basis, according to Deichstube.
The local outlet reports that the Green-Whites would have to pay around €3 million to make the 24-year-old goalkeeper's loan permanent.
The Estonian international made two appearances for Werder during the 2025/26 campaign and impressed when called upon.
Hein is expected to become Werder Bremen’s new first-choice goalkeeper, while current No. 1 Mio Backhaus is set to be sold.
A potential transfer fee of around €15 million has been mentioned for 22-year-old Backhaus, who has attracted interest from several clubs.
