Reports: Dortmund prepare to "sign and safeguard" Guirassy
Germany's main sporting tabloid nevertheless reports that die Schwarzgelben are not planning on having their new signing available until match-day three at the earliest.
Germany's preeminent footballing publication, Kicker Magazine, reports that results of an internal BVB medical yesterday have convinced club administrators to proceed with the stalled transfer of Serhou Guirassy. Dortmund will reportedly ink the 29-year-old to a new contract tomorrow. At present, there is no new information concerning rumors that Dortmund will offer the Stuttgart striker a lower salary or signing bonus.
Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid does claim that the diagnosis from Guirassy's private medical check in Paris does not line up with the opinions of the BVB medical department. The Bundesrepublik's main "Boulevard-Blatt" claims that Dortmund doctors have identified a subtle tear that could conceivably keep Guirassy sidelined through mid-September. Bild notes that the Westphalians are aiming for a match-day three clash against Heidenheim.
