After an impressive start to the season, Brentford and Germany winger Kevin Schade has been rewarded with a €15 million market value increase in Transfermarkt’s October update.
Schade’s market value has risen to €50 million, making him the German player to receive the biggest boost in the latest update.
According to Transfermarkt’s Premier League market value coordinator Ben Littlemore, Schade has been given a career-high market value as a result of his “furious start to the season”.
“His brilliant finish with his heel against Leeds is already a contender for goal of the season! Given the current lack of top talent in his position, Schade is probably already one of the best left wingers in the entire Premier League,” said Littlemore.
“He was also heavily linked with a move to Arsenal during the summer. If he can maintain his early-season form, there will undoubtedly be increased speculation about a major transfer, so a significant upgrade was necessary to reflect his growing status.”
Other German players to receive market value increases include Monaco’s Paris Brunner (+€13.5m to €15m), Freiburg’s Derry Scherhant (+€12.5m to €20m), Arsenal’s Kai Havertz (+€5m to €60m) and Newcastle United’s Malick Thiaw (+€5m to €50m).
