Following his failed move to Crystal Palace earlier in the summer, Chrislain Matsima could now stay at FC Augsburg beyond the transfer window.
While a summer transfer is not completely off the table for the centre-back, Matsima is not actively pushing for a move, according to Kicker.
At the same time, Augsburg are under no pressure to sell the 24-year-old, who is under contract until 2030.
Matsima initially joined Augsburg on loan from AS Monaco in 2024 before making the move permanent for a reported €5 million fee a year later.
The France international has made 53 appearances for the Bundesliga club to date.
