AC Milan open up talks with Füllkrug, di Marzio reports

Italian transfer guru Gianluca di Marzio reports that AC Milan are entertaining the notion of bringing in German veteran striker Niclas Füllkrug.

Italian transfer guru Gianluca di Marzio claims that AC Milan have Niclas Füllkrug in mind as a potential replacement for veteran French striker Olivier Giroud. Di Marzio claims that initial talks between the Serie A club and the 31-year-old have already taken place. Additional negotiations are expected to take place early next week and could potentially move quickly.

Any potential Füllkrug departure naturally hinges on the eventual outcome of Serhou Guirassy's stalled move to the BVB.Guirassy's arrival would certainly increase Füllkrug's interest in departing, even though the German national team forward appears to have ruled out a move within the Bundesliga. The Italians might also be able to lure him away with a lucrative salary offer.
