Report: Zirkzee and Dajaku linked with potential loans to Köln
Striker Sebastian Andersson may be healthy enough to return to the 1. FC Köln starting XI soon. That doesn't change the fact that die Geißböcke desperately need more offensive weapons. With no real money to spend, loan arrangements appear the sporting director's best options.
German sporting publication "Spox" and footballing website "Goal" report that Horst Heldt currently targets Joshua Zirkzee and Leon Dajaku of FC Bayern II.

Multiple German media sources now link both players with the cathedral city club. Germany's Bill-Zeitung reported that a deal to send Zirkzee to Köln was in the works during the latter stages of the summer window, but didn't materialize as the player himself considered it an unacceptable destination.
Matters will have certainly changed for Zirkzee now that it is clear that he does not have a clear path into the Bayern first team. Trainer Hans Dieter Flick has openly commented on what he perceives the 19-year-old Dutch international's weaknesses to be.
Zirkzee has only made the Bayern first-team squad five times this season, starting only once and never playing a full 90 minutes. He's also only started thrice for FC Bayern II. Bild reports that Köln are preparing another serious attempt to acquire him, possibly promising playing time.
Dajaku has not even made a single bench squad for Bayern in any of their competitions. The teenager has featured in all twelve of the second-team's 3. Liga encounters, tallying three times and adding one assist.
