Taylan Bulut becomes the latest Schalke talent to try his luck elsewhere: the 19-year-old moves on to Beşiktaş for a reported fee of €6 million. The Istanbul club confirmed the transfer and a contract term for the German U19 international until 2030.

“The move to Beşiktaş is the right decision for everyone, both from a sporting and financial perspective,” explained Director of Professional Football Youri Mulder.

“The fact that Taylan is moving to a top Turkish team is testament to the excellent training he received at the Knappenschmiede academy. Together with all his teammates from the past five years, I would like to thank Taylan for his commitment and wish him all the best for his personal and sporting future.”

Bulut experienced a breakthrough season in 2024/25, where he featured in 26 games. Many Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt and SC Freiburg among others, showed interest in the right-back, but a transfer was never close.
