Real Madrid sense a transfer for Bayern's Olise is "virtually impossible"

According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid no longer seriously expects to sign Michael Olise. 

Contrary to prior reports in BILD, internally, a transfer for the Bayern Munich star is reportedly considered "virtually impossible".

Regardless, president Florentino Pérez is expected to make a move should a realistic opportunity arise against all odds. 

However, the report assesses this scenario as extremely unlikely at present, with the Bavarians keen to retain the French winger.

This effectively confirms once again how difficult a transfer of the French international would be, even for the Galacticos.

Olise still has a contract with the reigning German double champions until 2029, and there is no release clause in the deal.

Ultimately, should Olise reaffirm his desire to leave internally, intensive talks between player and club would likely be unavoidable.
