Harry Kane will captain England for their final group stage game against Panama. FC Bayern's striker started the tournament with a first-half brace against Croatia, but he uncharacteristically missed from an open goal in the goalless draw with Ghana.
England already booked their place in the Round of 32 after yesterday's results confirmed four points is enough for the best third-placed finish. However, they might need three points for a top spot finish as Ghana battle Croatia in the other game from the group.
Kane scored a hat-trick against Panama in the 2018 World Cup, but that game is mostly remembered for the wild celebration by the debutants after scoring their first-ever goal in a 6-1 defeat. Curiously, Panama are the only team yet to score a goal in this tournament.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Jarell Quansah replaced the injured Reece James as he'll be making his World Cup debut from the start.
