Bayern confirm Tillman's permanent sale to PSV

FC Bayern München attacking prospect Malik Tillman has been permanently sold to PSV Eindhoven. The 21-year-old was loaned out to the Dutch champions just prior to the start of the current campaign. After scoring nine goals and collecting 11 assists in 26 league appearances for PSV, Bayern have collected a rumored €13 million for the Nürnberg-native. PSV pull the reported on purchase option in Tillman's loan deal.
Tillman departs Bayern having made seven appearances for the senior team. The FCB campus product was once an enthusiastic German youth international, but surprisingly switched allegiances to his father's country two years ago. The now 10-times-capped USMNT international ended up thriving in to consecutive loan stints with his now permanent team and Glasgow Rangers.
"Malik Tillman came to FC Bayern as a youth player," FCB sporting director Christoph Freund noted in a Bayern-released statement, "[He]developed into a professional here over the years and has now become a top performer in Eindhoven. He continues the long list of young talents who have made their mark in professional football after training at FC Bayern. We wish him success and all the best in the future."
Tillman himself noted that he was "eager to chase many more trophies in the coming years" in Holland. Current PSV trainer Peter Bosz also noted that he was "excited to see how much more Tillman" will develop in the coming years". Tillman's new contract with PSV runs through 2028.
