Bayern youngster Tarek Buchmann could be a transfer target for 2.Bundesliga clubs next season, Kicker reports.

The 19-year-old has returned to fitness again and his qualities could attract the interest of Hannover 96 and Fortuna Düsseldorf.

It is believed both second division clubs held talks with the promising centre-half already.

Buchmann, whose contract with the Bavarians runs until 2026, could be extended in the not-too-distant future.

However, with Bayern’s vast reserves in his position; a loan might be practical to nurture player development.

Injuries have been an issue with the German who only marked his return to the pitch in mid-February against 1.FC Schweinfurt 05.

Buchmann still feels at home with Die Rekordmeister and appreciates their patience as he rehabbed.

"I am incredibly grateful for how caring the club has been towards me during this difficult time, that they really did everything for me," he stressed to club media.
