Germany created plenty of chances in Monday's friendly against Ukraine, but failed to convert them into goals as they were held to a 0-0 draw.
Speaking on German television after the match, Joshua Kimmich expressed his disappointment at the lack of a goal, saying he thought Germany put in a good performance overall.
“We played a good game. The Ukrainians couldn't complain if we had won 1-0 or 2-0. It's difficult to score against an opponent who defend so well. We had a lot of very good chances, which is not a given against a team that play 5-4-1,” said Kimmich.
"We had a good start to the game, won a lot of possession and were present in the box. Too bad we couldn't score. You could see we wanted to win. We need to keep it up and hopefully get a win in the last friendly."
On Friday, Germany will take on Greece in their last friendly before the European Championship.
