Leipzig Pokal Updates: Nagelsmann drops Angelino for "disciplinary reasons", Nkunku fit, Adams ruled out
RB Leipzig trainer Julian Nagelsmann confirmed that star Spanish left-wingback Angelino had been dropped from the roster ahead of tomorrow's domestic cup final. The 33-year-old head coach didn't care to go into great detail about why, but RB live confirms that it is for "disciplinary reasons".
In terms of the players who sat out last Saturday's league tie against the BVB, attacker Christopher Nkunku has recovered in time to take part in the match. American midfielder Tyler Adams remains unavailable with persistent back problems.
Leipzig gaffer Julian Nagelsmann conceded some anxiety about his first DFB-Pokal final at the Wednesday presser in Berlin's Olympiastadion, but firmly declared that he was confident of bringing some silverware to the club he's served for the past two years. Before departing for Bayern over the summer, the young trainer most assuredly wishes to leave on a high note.

Before expressing a "good feeling" about tomorrow's match, Nagelsmann's tritely reported that he had decided to exclude star left back/winger Angelino from the fixture.
"I don't have to go in exact reasons," he firmly insisted, "Angelino is not in the squad tomorrow."
The RBlive news portal confirms that Angelino is being dropped for "disciplinary reasons".
The 24-year old has earned censure from Nagelsmann for contradicting a club injury update on social media in late February. Nagelsmann then publicly reprimanded Angelino for another incident in early April.
As of yet, there exists no independent corroboration for the reasoning behind the measure. Angelino did play what may be described as a poor game against Dortmund on Saturday and some reports suggest Nagelsmann may have been dissatisfied with the Spaniards efforts in subsequent training sessions.
During Wednesday's media round, Nagelsmann also provided updates on two players forced to miss Saturday's match with injury. Both Christopher Nkunku and Tyler Adams sat out the encounter with back problems.
Nagelsmann noted that Nkunku was able to resume training and is ready to go. Unfortunately, Adams has not been able to make it back to the practice pitch and will be unavailable.
