Frankfurt art museum confirms Sané's ticket to the Euros

Leroy Sané's nomination for Julian Nagelsmann's European Championship roster has been confirmed via a portrait unveiled in the Frankfurter Kunsthalle's Schirn Art Collection.

Another confirmed German national team nomination has been unveiled in a highly creative fashion. After Chris Führich's nomination was announced via a bakery earlier today, Leroy Sané's ticket to the Euros has been announced via a picture unveiled in a Frankfurt art museum. Sané will be part of Julian Nagelsmann's roster despite struggling with public bone issues that have left him playing through pain recently.

Sané hasn't had much luck at major tournaments for his home country thus far in his career. The Essen-native made one brief appearance at Euro 2016. Joachim Löw famously declined to nominate him for the 2018 World Cup. Injury issues limited his influence at the 2021 Euros and 2022 World Cups. Sané won't be available for Germany's first pre-tournament friendly as he must finish serving suspension picked up at a friendly in November.
