Heidenheim sign Saarbrücken midfielder
22-year-old Luca Kerber will join FC Heidenheim from Saarbrücken in the summer.
1. FC Heidenheim have completed the signing of Luca Kerber from 3. Liga side 1. FC Saarbrücken.
The 22-year-old central midfielder joins the Bundesliga side on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.
Kerber has been a key part of a Saarbrücken side that sensationally reached the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal, and his performances in the cup caught the eye of Heidenheim.
"Luca is a young and highly talented player who can now look back on over one hundred games in the 3. Liga and has also made a name for himself in this year's DFB-Pokal," said Heidenheim's sporting director Robert Strauß.
"We are delighted that Luca has chosen our FCH and are convinced that he can become an important part of our team.
